Yep! It’s true! In the next two weeks Owly and I will be visiting not just one, but BOTH coasts of the United States! First, Owly and I are heading down to the east coast to sunny Miami to visit six branches of the wonderful Miami-Dade Public Library System! On Thursday, we’ll be at Country Walk and West Kendall, on Friday we’ll be at South Dade and North Shore, and on Saturday we’ll be at Coral Gables and Miami Lakes! If you’re in the Miami area be sure to come on down and see us. We’ll be talking about Owly, comics and graphic novels, silent storytelling, showing you how to draw like a professional and even teaching you how to draw our favorite little round bird and all of his pals! It’s gonna be awesome! :D We’ll make a short stop home for an awesome Comics Camp at Little Shop of Stories and then…
It’s off to the west coast and The San Diego Comic-Con! There you’ll be able to find Owly and me at the Top Shelf booth (Booth #1721) along with Robert Venditti, Matt Kindt, Alex Robinson, Jeremy Tinder, Christian Slade, Andy Hartzell, Jeff Lemire, David Yurkovich, Jose Villarrubia, Eddie Campbell, Jeffrey Brown, and many more wonderful members of the Top Shelf family! I’ll be signing books, selling, shirts, hats, toys, buttons, doing “Owly As…”sketches, and have original Owly pages for sale! See you on the coasts! :D

Thanks to all of our new friends and wonderful fans who braved the New York heat and came out to MoCCA! Owly and I had a great time (even though we probably had a few too many bubble teas) and it was so great to see you all! We can’t wait to come back to the city! :)
This upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (June 20th, 21st, and 22nd), we’ll be having a party on Indie Island at the amazing Heroes Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina! So come on down to the show and stop by the Top Shelf table and say hi to Rob, Chris, Matt, Alex, Jeremy, Jeffrey, and Liz, and be sure to look around at all of the other artists at the show, including my good friends, J.Chris, Duane and Justin, Josh, Rob ,the AdHouse crew, the guys from the Dollar Bin, Pat, Ben, Jim, and many many more!!! The atmosphere and the wonderful family-friendly nature of this show makes it one of my favorites! I’ll be doing sketches, we’ll have Free Owly & Friends Comics to give away, and we’ll be selling books, shirts, toys, hats, and Owly original art! And there’ll be no time for restin’ because right after that, Owly and I will be on our way to Chicago, Illinois for Wizard World where we’ll be surrounded by friends again! See you all soon! :)

Thanks to all of the Northwest fans who came from all over to say hi. Owly and I had an absolutely wonderful time in Seattle!!! :D It was so great to meet everyone and to see all of the tall, pointy trees that surrounded the city! We can’t wait to come back again and we hope to see you all again next year! ^,^
Owly and I are now on our way to New York City for the MoCCA Art Festival on June 7th and 8th! We’ll be in the Big Apple hanging out with all of our friends! If you’re in the city, stop on by and check out the Top Shelf crew at the bar in the main room next to table A1! Just look for the big mirrors and you’ll find us! I’ll be st up next to my friends Rob, Alex, Jeffrey, Jeff and many more! And even more of my friendswill be elsewhere at the show! There you can find Rosemary, Ryan, Steve, Malki!, the AdHouse crew, Raina and Dave, Rich Stevens, Bryan Lee O’Malley, Hope Larson, Kean Soo, and many, MANY more! At the Top Shelf bar we’ll have Owly hats, buttons, artwork, shirts, toys, and tons of books, including limited hardcover editions of volumes one and four! So come on down and say hi!
